I was very specific in my last post about our Countries trouble, this post is about Seeking God for Everything. I have spent a lot of my life running here and there without finding what I needed. I wanted to make more money, drive a newer car, be this, be that and in the end, was it really what I needed. Well, yes I did accomplish my desires most of the time, but in reveiw of my life; did I really seek God? The answer is; not always! The reason I say this is because I look back and there were times I made quick decisions without weighing all the cost. My thoughts go to a perticular time that I changed jobs to get closer to my family. That was my excuse. It also meant that my husband would have to leave his job and he was not really ready to make the move. We moved...but when it was all said and done, I suffered one of the most upsetting times of my life. I found out that everybody is not going to like you and even though you have done nothing to them, they are just not going to like you. It was a job closer to my family but that was just about all it was. I was not allowed to use what knowledge I had gained from my previous job, I was in tears all the time, I felt insecure and wished my immediate boss would leave the Company. She definitely was not Seeking God for Everything, and especially her relationship with me. Yes, she did have a lot of problems and she took it all out on me and I was not the first one. Nevertheless, having never experienced these kinds of things before...I just did not know how to handle them. I learned the hard way. Eventually the company was bought by a larger one and all was well again. She did not go with the merger and I learned a valuable lesson and one I hope to never encounter again.
After spilling the beans about my mistakes, (one of them), I remind you that if we are Seeking God for Everything, then we stand less of a chance of failing. He knows what is best for us and He will guide us, if we allow Him. I have known of some people who think they know as much as He does. It is not wise to take God for granted and come to Him after the fact. Kind of like I did about the job above. What we should do is make a list of the good things about what we are going to do but we should also make a list of the things that could go wrong. I know that there is no way for us to know all the things that could go wrong and the unthought of can happen, as it did to me.
When I read the scripture that states "seeking ye the Lord while He may be found" I remember that if we only seek Him when we need something or need Him to straighten out something....we are possibly in for a rude awakening, one of these days. The Lord is forever merciful but He is also a jealous God. That is scripture and He want us on a daily basis to ask for His devine help. In Seeking God for Everything, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt we will be in His will...if we know how to listen to His voice.

Seeking God Now
It seems to me if we are proclaiming that we are Christians, then we should be Seeking God Now for our Country on an everyday basis. Those of you who do not believe in God, Christ, Jesus, you still might find something in the blog useful. I do not claim to be a professor of Religion or Christianity. I am here because I see our Nation in deep pain and it seems that what we were established upon is going away. It is disturbing and upsetting when you cannot trust those who are in charge. There are families who are suffering because they have lost their homes, their job and many other aspects of their life. The answer to all of this is still God. Doesn’t matter to me what they say about keeping Church and State separated, we should be Seeking God Now.
God is the creator of man, He created the heavens and earth, He breathed life into man and He forever will rule this earth. Yes, the President has his say, so to speak, but when it boils down…God’s will, will be done eventually and in the end. God allows humans to make decisions and those decisions will make or break this Country. We know what our Constitution states; Church and state can’t be a part of decisions. On the other hand, the Christian community should be praying everyday, “Seeking God Now” for the right decisions to be made and asking God to direct those decisions. You may not believe what is being said on these pages but in our daily walk with God and in any spiritual growth that we seek, we know that we need to pray for our Leaders.
In our daily life yes we are free to make our own decisions without Seeking God or the help of anyone, but I have found that if I make an important decision without seeking some guidance from a higher power, I end up regretting what I have done and suffer the consequences when all is said and done. There are certain rules to play by and I am not sure that anyone in Washington fears anything, much less God. That is strong, but when the White House starts to degrade a TV Channel because it does not agree with them, it is getting pretty bad. When a party will pass legislation without regard to what the American people want, solely on what they want….is gets more disturbing by the day. It is now time for all of us to stand firm and pass the word, and if we are Seeking God Now, He will at some point put a stop to this seemingly uncontrollable party.
Let me just say that I am neither a Democrat nor Republican, I believe in what is right and what I am seeing is far from being right. I believe if the people would turn from their unrighteousness and Seek God Now, our Country could be turned into the right direction.
I know there are a lot of people that do not realize what is going on for one reason or the other. Life is busy for all and most are just trying to survive with the state of our economy as it is and the ups and downs of life. My concern is that if we, who do profess to be Christians, (in spite of what President Obama stated: “We do not consider ourselves a Christian Nation”) do not start applying what we know that will keep us strong; Seeking God Now…we will become something other than a “free” nation.
God said to Israel when they were not obeying His voice and about to be destroyed: “But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Deuteronomy 4: 29. I do not want this Country that we live in to become something we were not meant to be. I do not believe that it is in God’s plan for our free will rights to go away and for us to be subject to the Government of this Country for everything.
I trust if you are reading this, you will join with me and Seek God Now for our Country. We are in a time of turmoil over the financial status; the deficit seems too large to ever recuperate from and our health care reform is being pushed down our throat. I believe our prayers are warranted and that if enough people remind God daily that regardless of what is said, He can change the path our Country is headed. We have lost enough and our lives have been shattered enough, and there are people who do not know how they will pay the bills tomorrow. It is not something that the President or Congress or fate alone can take care of. This is a God solving problem too and He must work through people, if they will Seek Him Now.
It is a shame that our Country is in the current situation and there is always a right or wrong path to be taken. If we Seek God Now for our leadership, I believe we can make a difference in how the outcome for America will be. I feel that we should pray for our Leaders to have a conscious, whether they believe like a Christian or not and make their decisions on what is best for the American people as a whole. Yes, the poor needs help with their health care….give it to them…but dictating that we all must have a government plan, does not seem to be fitting for a place called America, the free. Join with me in Seeking God Now for our Country that is in need. Read this spiritual-growth-spirituality.
